Here are a few questions we asked the bride, Kelsi:

How was your experience with wedding planning?

Our wedding planning experience was amazing! We had a really good support system all around so we pretty much felt at ease the entire process! We knew the general direction we wanted to go in and after picking a venue everything fell beautifully in place! It really helps going with an all inclusive venue.

What advice would you give to brides?

  • Don’t get so caught up in the wedding. A beautiful marriage is really the goal! Take a deep breath, go with the glow and have a great time

  • Investing in a wedding coordinator was also an amazing decision as it eliminated lots of possible stress throughout the process

  • Be sure to share the day with those who truly love you both

Kelsi & Craig celebrated the most joyous union on April 22, 2023. The couple wanted to ensure since the start of the planning experience that their wedding would be filled with happiness, attention to detail and most of all love.

The day began with the bridal party getting ready around 5AM. With a bridal party of this size, we had two makeup artists for that morning and the ladies' hair was styled the day prior. It’s always a good idea to get an early start to ensure that there is enough time for getting dressed and pictures.

Kelsi and Craig decided to go with The Balcony Ballroom as their venue. This venue included the DJ, lighting, chairs, linens, and pretty much everything else you could think of which helped the overall planning process go really smoothly. An all inclusive venue is a super great option because it really allows for the couple and planner to focus on other details.

Guests were welcomed with an opportunity to leave a voicemail message through the audio guest

book.

The unplugged ceremony consisted of a guest count of about 150 close friends and family.

The bride graciously walked down the aisle to an arrangement by violinist, Shaun Ward.

After the conclusion of the ceremony, THE PARTY BEGAN. Kelsi and Craig's loved ones are from Baton Rouge and New Orleans so you can only imagine the time we had.

With toast by the father of the bride and other members of the wedding party, this was a sentimental moment for both the bride and groom.

And it wouldn’t be a Louisiana wedding without a second line by Kinfolk Brass Band.

Congratulations again to both Kelsi and Craig on your union. May God continue to bless you and thank you for allowing me to be apart of this journey as I hope it is an experience you never forget.
