When producing an event, the intention is to always stay within alignment of our personal and business values, along with figuring out how we can leave an impact and give an incredible EXPERIENCE to those involv

The Juneteenth Experience was an event that started as a creative idea but like many of our ideas, it was a goal for it to come to fruition. As someone who has followed a mostly plant-based diet since 2017, I wanted to partner with one of the top vegan restaurants in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Vegan Friendly Foods. The restaurant also has a foundation Friendly Vegan Foundation that centers around healing communities through wellness education and providing plant-based food options to those in need.
Just in time for the summer, as well as celebrating Juneteenth, this event focused on highlighting black-owned businesses within the community along with honoring black culture, where we come from and our freedom.

The event included 20+ vendors who were centered around health and wellness, fashion, art and more.

Sounds by DJ Love Yourself, guests enjoyed lived performances, plenty of food, lots of family fun and even concluded the event with a soul train line.
Although, it was one of the HOTTEST summer days in Louisiana,
everyone who came had an amazing time.
